Emily Braly

Emily graduated from Texas Christian University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. After 3 years teaching 5th and 6th grade math she returned to Texas Christian University and in 2005 received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She worked as an RN in Adult ICU and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology before earning her Master’s degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Emily worked for 7 years at Cook Children’s with their Hematology/Oncology program, primarily with the Neuro-Oncology population. Emily and her family moved back to Oklahoma City in 2016 and since that time she has worked at OU Children’s continuing to serve the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology population. Emily earned her Doctorate in Nursing in 2020. Emily is now an Assistant Clinical Professor for the OUHSC College of Nursing serving in a dual clinical and academic role which enables her to continue to care for the pediatric hemagology/oncology population while also teaching future nurses.
