Monique Naifeh, MD, MPH completed her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, her Master of Public Health degree and medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, and residency at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She has been on faculty at OU since 2005 and is currently an Associate Professor, board certified pediatric hospital medicine specialist, and Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program. Dr. Naifeh has a strong interest in graduate medical education including subjects related to vulnerability, the growth mindset and feedback. She is director of the pediatric residency coaching program and has worked with other GME coaches across the country to give several workshops at national meetings. Her primary research interest is around trainee scholarly activity. She is also interested in quality improvement and patient safety; she has been co-chair of the Women’s and Children’s Quality and Patient Safety Committee since 2012 and a member of that committee since joining the faculty in 2005.
