Edd D. Rhoades, MD, MPH

 

Edd D. Rhoades, MD, assumed the role of Chief Medical Officer in October 2018 for the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) where he has served the state of Oklahoma for the past 40 years. His role focuses on the medical and public health functions of the agency and includes advising leadership on public health issues, providing medical consultation to various programs across the agency, providing medical oversight of preventive health services provided through county health departments, and working with partner agencies, professional organizations and community agencies to improve the health of Oklahomans. Dr. Rhoades is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he completed his residency in pediatrics.
