Rachel Franklin, MD FAAFP is Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Oklahoma, and Medical Director of the Family Medicine Center on the Health Sciences Center Campus in Oklahoma City, where she supervises the care provided to more than 50,000 Oklahomans annually. She practices full scope family medicine, including obstetric care. Dr. Franklin is a nationally recognized clinician, advocate and educator, particularly in the area of primary care pain management/reduction of opioid overuse. She is co-director of the University of Oklahoma’s Primary Care Update CME program, which reaches attendees from across the country and internationally twice per year and is regularly named a “Top Doctor” in the U.S. by her peers.
