Dr. Dukes was appointed Residency Director in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in December, 2014. Dr. Dukes also jointly holds the position of Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and is a Clinical Assistant Professor, joining the University of Oklahoma Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in September, 2014.

 

Dr. Dukes has an extensive history of providing psychiatric service to the military in which he has served in numerous capacities, including providing psychiatric medical care to soldiers deployed to Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom, deployment to Kosovo as a psychiatrist with the 75th US Army Hospital to the Balkan region, the Director of Military Psychiatry at Cedar Springs Hospital in Colorado Springs, service as a psychiatrist at Fort Carson Army Base, and deployment to Iraq as a military psychiatrist during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently an active military reservist with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

 

Dr. Dukes is also an Aviation Medical Examiner, and HIMS psychiatrist designated by the FAA. Additionally, in July 2017, Dr. Dukes was appointed nationally as a Special Medical Consultant to the Federal Air Surgeon.
