Jedidiah J. Perdue, MD, MPH is the Director of Mental Health at the Stephenson Cancer Center.  He completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma prior to residency training in psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. He has a background in education, research, and public health, and he is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Perdue has worked extensively with individuals with severe mental illness, addiction, and complex medical and psychiatric needs and has held leadership roles in the VA, community, and academic settings. As chief medical officer of Northcare, he designed and implemented the first community mental health center-based medication assisted treatment clinic for individuals with opioid use disorder in the Oklahoma City area. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and active member of the American Psychiatric Association.
