Dr. Eliot F. Battle, Jr. is a considered one of the leading authorities on cosmetic lasers on skin of color.  He is the CEO and co-founder of Cultura Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. Cultura is located in Washington, DC, has become an important destination for patients from all over the world seeking his expertise as well as physicians seeking advance training. 

20 years ago, Dr. Battle's research at Harvard University helped pioneer the new generation of "color blind" cosmetic lasers opening up the field to all patients, regardless of skin color or ethnicity. One of Dr. Battles goals is to encourage industry to include a large cohort of skin of color patients in their research and clinical trials. 

Dr. Battle's has received numerous national academic honors and awards, but he is most proud of being inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, recognition as a National Institute of Health research scholar and his Harvard fellowship at the Wellman Laboratories of Photomedicine under the tutelage of the renowned Dr. Rox Anderson.

Dr. Battle is one of the most sought out speakers in the cosmetic dermatology and laser industry and is consistently interviewed in the media as a world expert in skin care.
