Ondria C. Gleason, MD is Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa.  She received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska in 1994 prior to completing a residency in psychiatry at the University of Iowa.  Dr. Gleason joined the faculty at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in 1998.  She has served in numerous roles in the Department of Psychiatry and at the School of Community Medicine including director of the Consultation-Liaison service, residency program director for both the general psychiatry residency and the combined family medicine/psychiatry residency, director of the psychiatry outpatient clinic, director of the Program of Assertive Community Treatment and Interim Dean of the School of Community Medicine.  Her research interests include depression in the medically ill, particularly those with hepatitis C, and delirium.  She has been Chair of the Department of Psychiatry since 2008.  She is past President of the Tulsa Psychiatric Association, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Physicians Association and the American Academy of Chairs of Departments of Psychiatry.
