Professional Practice Gap:
Traditional guidelines for optic neuritis management derived from landmark trials pre-date our understanding of the subtypes of disease and the evolution of appropriate work-up and treatment options requires ongoing education.

Learning Objectives:  Upon completion of this session, participants will improve their competence and performance by being able to:
1.  Evaluate optic neuritis features that may help differentiate MS related disease from NMO, MOG and atypical causes.
2.  Explore context surrounding the optic neuritis treatment trial and more recent updates regarding outpatient management.
