Overview
The 2016 Oklahoma Thoracic Oncology Conference addresses newer advances in areas of interest for lung and esophageal cancer treatment. The single-day program will consist of lectures and case discussions highlighting the multidisciplinary coordination of cancer care and the application of progressive technology to cancer care. Evidence-based medicine highlighting relevant clinical trial data will be provided as well as current controversies involving such care. Experts on the subject will present lectures and be available for questions and case discussions. 

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will improve their competence and performance by being able to: 


  1. Describe the latest diagnosis, techniques, and treatment decisions of thoracic cancers from a surgical and oncologic perspective,
  2. Recognize when there is a need for consultation with or referral to specialists or services.
