Overview
For Innovations in Aging Day 2022, a panel presentation will focus on interprofessional careers in aging to coincide with National Careers in Aging Week.  Presenters for this panel come from four professional backgrounds: a clinician, a researcher, a community worker/liaison, and an educator.  Abstracts that will be presented for Innovations in Aging Day 2022 will comprise three categories: Clinical Care or Research, Health Professions Education, and Community-Based Interventions.  Innovations in Aging Day is provided with no registration cost to participants and seeks to grow interest in aging research on the OUHSC campus as well as other regional campuses.

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will improve their competence and performance by being able to:

  1. Distinguish the different professions and how they provide services to older adults.
  2. Recognize the need for more professionals to provide services to older adults.

Accreditation

The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
