Presenters from across the region will talk about disasters, trauma systems, perform case studies, and provide hands-on learning targeting specific groups of trauma care providers. This is our opportunity to share knowledge with other professionals, build rapport, support professional relationships, and welcome attendees to our facility.

  1. Understand the core subject knowledge surrounding disaster management and the application of that knowledge to the continuum of care.
  2. Analyze the importance of a regional trauma system and the role that every facility plays in minimizing death and disability from trauma.
  3. Evaluate the concept of Trauma Informed Care and the role it plays in the life of healthcare providers.
  4. Discuss the complex and multidisciplinary care needed for the trauma patients.
