2025-2026 OkDCN/GWEP Age Friendly Community Resource ECHO, Course #26D38

Project Echo is a collaborative model of virtual education for professionals who support older adults living at home or in another community-based setting. The format of a one-hour EHCO is a virtual, short expert presentation followed by a real-world case discussion. One hourly sessions per topic, offered one-day a week for six weeks.

1. identify at least one age-friendly strategy they plan to implement within their organization and in their interactions with individuals living with dementia, demonstrated through session discussion and case study analysis.
2. identify and address at least one specific need of individuals living with dementia across different care settings, demonstrated through session discussion and case study analysis.
3. identify at least one available Oklahoma based resources that supports individuals living with dementia and their caregivers, demonstrated through session discussion and case study analysis.
4. identify and explain at least one key difference between normal aging and dementia, demonstrated through session discussion and case study analysis.

The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
