2025-2026 Congenital Heart Center Case Based Conference/Patient Conference, Course #26D19 - 10/10/2025

Friday, October 10, 2025, 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Children's Hospital, Cousson's Conference Room #2104, Oklahoma City, OK

Weekly conference where duration is generally 1.5 - 2 hours, and active participation by all attendees is encouraged via case studies, the audience responding to questions, small group discussion, and question and answer opportunities. The ultimate goals of the conference are: 1) to assure that the needs of the patient are understood, 2) the needs of the patient are being met, 3) a long-term care plan is developed, and 4) adequate communication with the patient or their care-provider is being performed.

Professional Practice Gap
Congenital heart disease frequently encompasses derangements of all bodily systems. For this reason a wide variety of specialty areas are required in order to care for these complex patients. Each week we hold a multidisciplinary conference where the management of these patients is discussed
