Overview

General surgery grand rounds will allow for medical students, residents, APP's, and faculty to gain updated knowledge and fill knowledge gaps regarding our specialty. There are a variety of sub-specialties within general surgery that are constantly evolving in their standards of practice. These continuing education conferences will allow experts in each sub-specialty to discuss up-to-date practices and encourage questions and discussion from participants to close knowledge, competence, and performance gaps in areas that they are less familiar. This conference will be held on the second Friday of every month with exceptions made for holiday heavy months. It will take place in the Stanton L Young Biomedical Research Center lecture hall 109 and will be an in-person activity. Materials will be presented in powerpoint/lecture format.
