26014: 14th Annual Partners in Quality (March 10, 2026)

The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Health Care System, the Beta Delta Chapter-at-Large, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, OU Health, The University of Oklahoma Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, and The OU Health College of Medicine invite interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, faculty, and students to attend the 14th Annual Partners in Quality: The Future of Healthcare Quality conference. Presenters will highlight how interdisciplinary teams are improving patient outcomes through the implementation of evidence-based practice and quality improvement projects at the bedside.

1. Identify and apply strategies that foster effective interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, facilitating the integration of diverse evidence-based approaches across healthcare disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
2. Analyze and adapt innovative, evidence-based practices from other healthcare fields to their own professional context, promoting a unified, patient-centered approach to quality improvement and care delivery.
3. Lead or contribute to interdisciplinary quality improvement initiatives by aligning clinical decision-making with organizational goals and patient safety priorities.
4. Evaluate quality improvement outcomes and performance metrics to guide ongoing practice refinement and sustain improvements in patient care.
5. Apply quality improvement principles to optimize clinical workflows and reduce variation in care delivery across interdisciplinary teams.

1. Articulate the key principles and methodologies of quality improvement (QI) as they relate to nursing practice and interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare settings.
2. Identify and describe the diverse roles of nurses and other healthcare team members in implementing QI initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
3. Analyze quality improvement data and outcomes to inform decision-making and guide continuous improvement in clinical practice.
4. Demonstrate effective interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration to lead or participate in quality improvement (QI) initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
5. Evaluate quality improvement outcomes and performance metrics to guide ongoing practice refinement and sustain improvements in patient care.
