6th Annual Oklahoma Prostate and Urologic Cancer Symposium

The 6th Annual Oklahoma Prostate and Urologic Cancer Symposium is a single-day program which will consist of lectures and case discussions highlighting a multidisciplinary approach to urologic cancer care and integration of new technology in the evaluation and treatment of prostate cancer and urologic cancer patients. Evidence-based medicine highlighting relevant clinical trial data will be provided as well as focusing on current controversies in prostate cancer management. Including focal therapy, radical prostatectomy, and radiation therapy. Also, highlight development in surgical management including robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy. Finally, a review new treatments for advanced kidney cancer will also be included.

1. Prepare to improve knowledge and competence of advanced surgical techniques using robotics in the management of patients with prostate cancer.
2. Explain the therapeutics for advanced, metastatic, and castration resistant prostate cancer.
3. Explain the evolving role of MRI and bio markers in the detection of prostate cancer.
4. Summarize the changing role of chemo and immunotherapy in the management of metastatic kidney cancer.
5. Define the role of cytoreductive nephrectomy in metastatic Kidney cancer.
6. Summarize the changing role of immune-based therapy in patients with bladder cancer.
