Professional Practice Gaps: (1) Physicians struggle to cope professionally and personally with the stress created by the COVID-19 crisis. (2) To cope resiliently requires that physicians have an understanding of the biopsychosocial nature of stress. (3) Resilience education and training assists physicians implement coping strategies for themselves, treatment teams and patients. 

1. Explain the stress response
2. Identify signs and symptoms of stress
3. Implement strategies for personal preservation in times of crisis
4. Implement strategies for group cohesion in times of crisis
5. Utilize lessons learned from times of crisis
