Pediatricians and family practitioners may be unaware of evaluation techniques and treatment options for various neurosurgical diagnoses. This lecture series will educate pediatricians and family practitioners on these techniques and treatment options as well as provide guidelines on when it is appropriate to refer patients for neurosurgical evaluation.
The format of one diagnosis per session provides opportunity for neurosurgical experts to describe the diagnosis, evaluation techniques and treatment options. A live format is important to allow for Q&A.

1. Recognize complex neurosurgical diagnoses and identify evaluation techniques and treatment options.
2. Evaluate patients with neurosurgical diagnoses and understand when to refer or when to monitor

The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
