Overview

Innovations in Aging Day 2026 is a five-hour, interdisciplinary educational event designed for physicians, nurses, and social workers. Through four expert-led presentations and three short abstract presentations, participants will examine critical challenges and emerging solutions in the care of older adults, with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). Sessions address disparities in access and quality of care, trends in mobility and service use among Medicare beneficiaries, public-health implications of dementia caregiving, and advances in diagnosis and treatment, including biomarker development and appropriate use of anti-amyloid therapies. The program equips attendees with up-to-date clinical, public-health, and caregiving insights to strengthen competence and improve practice across aging-related professions.
