Overview
The 45th Annual William K. Ishmael Lectureship is an educational lectureship aimed at disseminating the latest in basic and clinical rheumatologic research to health care providers in the state of Oklahoma.  The one-day event will be held at the Samis Educational Center and will consist of a networking breakfast followed by four lectures and a buffet lunch. After lunch there will be a ‘meet the professor’ session, where attendees are encouraged to discuss, in small group format, interesting cases from their own past experience with our guest experts. The session will be followed by the final lecture of the day. 

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will improve their competence and performance by being able to: 

  1. Describe the new diagnostic and treatment options for systemic lupus erythematosus.
  2. Compare the new diagnostic and treatment options for rheumatoid arthritis.
  3. Identify the new diagnostic and therapeutic options for systemic vasculitis.
  4. Discuss the new diagnostic and treatment options for Scleroderma and Rayanuds.
  5. Distinguish the new diagnostic and treatment options for gout and calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease.
